Two people were killed during protests in Nanyuki on Monday against a US-funded Ebola quarantine facility at Laikipia Air Base.
The protests began around 7am with hundreds of residents carrying placards and chanting demands for the facility to close by June 9. Security officers fired during the unrest and fires burned on roads in parts of Nanyuki.
The High Court extended orders halting the project and directed the government to disclose all agreements and protocols within seven days.
The US House Committee on Foreign Affairs criticised the plan, stating that Americans should be repatriated and treated in domestic facilities.
