17-year-old Lilith Sturve from Falun has reached the final of the painting SM in Stockholm, making her the youngest among eight competitors. The final is part of Yrkes-SM in early May. "I'm starting to get nervous, but I'm super excited," she says.
Lilith Sturve, a 17-year-old from Falun, has advanced to the final of the painting SM in Stockholm. She is the youngest participant among the eight finalists competing for the national title.
Sturve is in her second year at Lugnetgymnasiet in Falun, specializing in painting. She has always been artistically inclined and appreciates the school's practical approach. "I've been very tired of school before, so getting to do practical work now is really nice. It means less sitting in the classroom," she says.
The final, part of Yrkes-SM in early May, includes tasks such as wallpaper hanging, detail painting, image transfer, and a free artistic project. Lilith is practicing intensively and looks forward most to the image transfer. "We get a motif on paper, then sketch it onto the wall and paint it," she explains.
Her goals extend beyond a top placement to personal growth and sharing her knowledge.
