Adventure Rider's latest Photos of the Week (#12-26), dated March 20, 2026, highlights submissions from forum users known as 'Inmates.' The lead image by @gnarlydog captures a Suzuki DR-Z4s paused in an Australian forest during rain. He used a Nikon Z camera with a Helios 44-7 lens and described the moment: “In the rain the forest becomes quiet. Most riders don’t like getting wet and dirty. For me that is the best time to take pictures and enjoy the solitude.” The photo emphasizes the peace found in riding amid nature's chaos, away from crowds and insects. Next, @thebear photographed his Korosi Red 2021 Triumph Street Twin with new Hepco & Becker panniers against Sydney’s Opera House and Harbour Bridge. He noted, “I had just fitted Hepco & Becker panniers to the bike and thought I’d send them a couple of photos of the result. The backgrounds suggested themselves: Sydney’s Opera House and Harbour Bridge.” A forthcoming review will detail the modifications. Inmate @themaestro documented a Central American road trip on a 2015 Suzuki V-Strom XT 650, including Guatemala Highway 49 west of Esteli, Nicaragua; a $6 pannier rack weld in Granada, Nicaragua; and parking at a La Fortuna, Costa Rica hotel. More trip photos are planned for future features. Other highlights include @MikeDirt’s 2022 Husqvarna FE501s in California’s Plumas National Forest, scarred by the 2020 North Complex fire; @Starvsbird’s 2020 KTM 1290R amid surprise snow; @Ozarkstrom’s 2022 Honda XR650L by an Ozarks waterfall in Missouri; @HerbHaught’s 2017 R1200GSA on the TAT in eastern Oklahoma, buzzed by a low-flying jet in November 2022; and a Yamaha MT at Milford Sound, New Zealand. The feature invites riders to submit photos via an orange button, promising more showcases ahead.
