Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference opens today with a keynote at 10 a.m. PT. The event marks CEO Tim Cook's final appearance in the role before his planned departure in September.
The keynote, held at Apple Park, will preview updates to iOS 27, iPadOS, macOS and watchOS. Developers are expected to receive beta versions shortly after the presentation. Apple is also anticipated to discuss enhancements to Apple Intelligence features, including possible integration of Google's Gemini models with Siri. Rumors have circulated about a significant overhaul for the virtual assistant. Cook will hand over leadership to John Ternus later this year. The conference traditionally focuses on software refinements rather than major hardware reveals.
