Four grandmasters secured spots in the 2026 Esports World Cup Play-in after competing at DreamHack Atlanta. GMs Aravindh Chithambaram, Andrey Esipenko, Liem Le, and Alexey Sarana earned qualification through the event held from May 15 to 17.
GMs Aravindh Chithambaram, Andrey Esipenko, Liem Le, and Alexey Sarana qualified for the 2026 Esports World Cup Play-in at DreamHack Atlanta. They will face four players from the Last Chance Qualifier in August for two spots in the main Group Stage alongside stars such as Magnus Carlsen. The Group Stage will feature 16 players total once all qualifiers are set.
