Audax Italiano defeated Barracas Central 2-0 in the Copa Sudamericana group stage. Goals came from Daniel Piña and Diego Coelho.
The match took place at the Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida stadium in Santiago. Daniel Piña opened the scoring at the 44th minute of the first half. Diego Coelho sealed the win at the 42nd minute of the second half.
Gonzalo Morales of Barracas Central was sent off eight minutes into the second half. Audax Italiano controlled the game with 60 percent possession and 13 shots on target.
Barracas Central will close its group campaign against Vasco da Gama. Audax Italiano will face Olimpia on May 27.
