Bethesda has teased new Starfield information for next week on X/Twitter, responding to praise for director Todd Howard from the game's composer Inon Zur. The post aligns with ongoing rumours of a PlayStation 5 release.
The tease follows comments from long-time Bethesda composer Inon Zur, who called Todd Howard a 'visionary' and said 'people were just not ready for' the 2023 space RPG, which earned mixed reviews—such as Eurogamer's noting its 'near-impossible breadth' and Bethesda strengths in physics and quests, but criticising its lack of cohesion due to scale.
Replying to a PC Gamer post about Zur's remarks, Bethesda stated: 'We ran this by Todd and he said his only visionary power is seeing running lanes in EA College Football 26. He appreciates all the passionate feedback on Starfield and we’ll have more to share next week.'
Posted on 2026-03-15, this comes amid reports of a Starfield PS5 launch on April 7 with pre-orders around March 18, ending Xbox exclusivity. While unconfirmed, the timing suggests the news could relate to the port or other updates.
