Beyoncé and Jay-Z East Hampton estate damaged in gate crash

A 63-year-old man allegedly drove through the security gates of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s East Hampton mansion at high speed, causing significant damage before his arrest.

The driver, described by police as appearing “confused,” made no threats or references to the couple, according to Detective/Sergeant Jennifer Dunn. He had earlier stopped at another nearby property asking for a woman by name.

Authorities charged the Bronx man with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor criminal trespass. His vehicle was impounded and he was taken to Stony Brook Hospital complaining of pain.

Police found no evidence the July incident targeted the stars, who bought the seven-bedroom waterfront home for a reported $26 million in 2017. The investigation remains ongoing.

No word yet if the power couple was even home for the unexpected driveway drama.
