BIK Karlskoga signs Canadian forward Harrison Blaisdell

BIK Karlskoga has signed Canadian forward Harrison Blaisdell for the 2026/27 season. The 25-year-old arrives from the Allen Americans in the ECHL.

Blaisdell recorded 58 points in 72 regular-season games during the past ECHL campaign. Sport chief Torsten Yngveson highlighted the player's skating ability and speed as key strengths.

"Blaisdell is a skilled forward whose absolute strength lies in his skating," Yngveson said. "His speed allows him to break patterns, create attacks at high pace and transport the puck over the offensive blue line."

Blaisdell was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2019 NHL draft. He spent several years in North American college hockey before turning professional.

The forward, previously named the ECHL's fastest player, will join the Karlskoga squad in August under a contract covering the 2026/27 season.
