Activision has released the Season 1 Reloaded midseason update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone on January 8, 2026. The patch introduces new maps, weapons, modes, and a collaboration with the Fallout TV show, alongside numerous bug fixes and balance changes. Players can expect enhanced anti-cheat tools and Warzone-specific adjustments to improve gameplay.
The Season 1 Reloaded update brings significant content to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, addressing player feedback through bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Key changes include an update to the Ricochet anti-cheat system, featuring the Secure Attestation Wizard to verify PC security requirements like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Activision provides setup guides and videos for these features.
In multiplayer, new maps join the rotation: Yakei, a small rooftop-focused map in Japan; a remastered Meltdown from Black Ops 2; Fringe with updated traversal; and Vault Town, a Fallout-themed Nuketown variant. Fresh modes debut, such as S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem, a 6v6 moshpit with radiation mechanics and power-ups like Pumpkin Pie for health boosts and RadAway to reduce exposure. The Ghouls offers a 24-player Infected twist with Vault Dwellers battling Ghouls, including Glowing Ghouls that explode on death. Takeover introduces dynamic objective capture combining Hardpoint and Domination elements.
New weapons include the Sturmwolf 45 SMG, noted for low recoil and good headshot damage, and the Hawker HX sniper rifle with fast handling. Returning loadout items from Black Ops 6 encompass tacticals like Shock Charge, lethals such as Impact Grenade, and scorestreaks including the Death Machine minigun.
Zombies mode expands with Directed Mode for Astra Malorum, capping rounds at 15 for guided quests; a new Survival map, Zarya Cosmodrome; and Project RADS LTM, a Fallout-inspired event on Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum featuring radiation management via items like Bottle Caps and RadX. Fixes address issues like the secret song Easter egg in Astra Malorum and quest bugs in Ashes of the Damned.
Warzone receives win streak camos for 10, 25, 30, and 50 consecutive victories, tracked separately for Battle Royale and Resurgence. The gas mask returns purchasable for $4,000, offering limited protection against gas, as developers state, "We recognize that gas plays are a core part of the Warzone experience." Counter UAV health doubles to 300, with price reduced to $2,000 and adjusted radii. Weapon tuning buffs underused attachments, including mid-range barrels on assault rifles and the Shadow SK sniper's damage range from 55m to 70m.
Endgame mode adds loot rewards like the Maddox RFB assault rifle and introduces the Deathclaw Hunt world event in a Fallout-wasteland zone. The Fallout crossover includes themed skins, an event pass, and modes, enhancing the midseason with collaborative content.
