Casemiro has agreed to move to Inter Miami and link up with Lionel Messi in Major League Soccer. The transfer comes after the Brazilian midfielder departed Manchester United.
Casemiro has reached a verbal agreement to join Inter Miami, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The 34-year-old Brazilian will move to the MLS club after Manchester United decided not to extend his contract following four seasons.
Casemiro started both matches for Brazil at the World Cup and played the full 90 minutes in a 3-0 win over Haiti on Friday. He won the FA Cup and EFL Cup during his time at United and previously collected three LaLiga titles and five Champions League trophies with Real Madrid.
Inter Miami won the MLS Cup in 2025, helped by Messi's 29 goals that year. The team currently sits second in the Eastern Conference, with the season on pause for the World Cup and Messi having scored 12 goals so far.
