Colo Colo comfortably defeated Deportes Recoleta 3-0 in their Copa Chile debut on June 20 at Estadio Santa Laura.
The first goal came in the seventh minute. Tomás Alarcón fired from the edge of the box after a rebound to open the scoring.
Arturo Vidal doubled the lead in the 38th minute. The midfielder converted a penalty after a foul on Lautaro Pastrán inside the area.
Maximiliano Romero sealed the win in the 55th minute. The Argentine striker scored the third goal from the spot following another foul in the box.
