Annual inflation in Colombia reached 6.14 percent in June, up from 5.84 percent in May and marking four straight months of acceleration.
The figure, released on July 9, 2026, showed a monthly change of 0.39 percent. Services, food and housing categories accounted for about 72 percent of first-half accumulated inflation, which reached 4.77 percent.
The segments of lodging and public services, food and non-alcoholic beverages, and restaurants and hotels concentrated the main pressures. Fresh fruits, potatoes and tomatoes were the perishables with the largest contribution.
Citi revised its 2026 inflation forecast to 6.2 percent and cut GDP growth to 2.5 percent for the year.
