Converse has introduced the All Star Coupe Plain Toe OX, a more pared-down version of its dressy sneaker line. The new model features a cleaned-up toe box and high-quality leather construction. It will be available in black and white colorways starting March 10 on the brand's Japan website.
Converse's latest addition to its footwear lineup is the All Star Coupe Plain Toe OX, described as an even more refined take on the classic dressy sneaker. This model builds on the previous All Star Coupe, which drew inspiration from styles like the Stan Smith, by simplifying the design further.
The sneaker boasts a cleaned-up toe box free of lines, emphasizing textured leather and a pure dress-shoe aesthetic. The upper is crafted from high-quality leather, accented by subtle branding and elegant waxed shoelaces. These elements combine Converse's signature elements with traditional formal design codes, creating what the brand positions as skate-able dress shoes and All-Star penny loafers.
Available in tonal black and white colorways, the All Star Coupe Plain Toe OX is scheduled for release on March 10. It will launch exclusively on Converse's Japan website at a price of ¥18,700, equivalent to approximately $118. The Coupe series represents Converse's most classy styles, blending casual versatility with sophisticated appeal.
This plain-toe variation joins the evolving family of dress sneakers from Converse, maintaining the brand's focus on accessible yet elegant footwear options.
