Coopi Ethiopia invites proposals for external audit service

International NGO Coopi's Ethiopia branch is calling for proposals from qualified audit firms to conduct its external audit for the year ending 2025. The audit will take place at its head office in Addis Ababa and cover three consecutive years starting from 2025.

Coopi, an international non-governmental organization founded in 1965, began operations in Ethiopia in 1995 after obtaining legal registration. Its work encompasses water resources, emergency and development initiatives, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), as well as awareness and capacity-building efforts. The organization manages its projects via a country office in Addis Ababa and field offices in the Oromia, Afar, Amhara, Tigray, and Somali regions.

In accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements, Coopi's Ethiopia branch is inviting proposals from qualified and licensed audit firms to perform its annual external audit for the year ending 2025. The chosen firm will audit the organization's financial accounts for three consecutive years, beginning in 2025. This audit will be carried out at the Coopi's Ethiopia head office in Addis Ababa.

Prospective bidders must submit their technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes, adhering to the terms of reference (TOR) for the audit service. Submissions are due within 10 consecutive working days from the date of this announcement, at the Coopi's office in Addis Ababa's Bole Sub-City, Woreda 6, House No. 088. The submission period runs from Monday, December 29, 2025, to Monday, January 12, 2026, between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

To obtain the TOR, interested parties should email logistic.eth@coopi.org or log.ethiopia@coopi.org. For further inquiries regarding the location or other details, contact the same email addresses. Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Coopi's reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids at any time prior to contract award, without liability to the bidders.
