Death Stranding 2: On the Beach arrives on PC on March 19

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the sequel to the 2019 game, will launch on PC on March 19, less than a year after its PlayStation 5 debut. The announcement came during PlayStation's February 2026 State of Play, with pre-orders now available on Steam and Epic Games Store. New modes and enhanced PC features are also planned for the release.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach first appeared exclusively on PlayStation 5 in June 2025, earning seven nominations at The Game Awards 2025 and praise as a standout title of the year. Developed by Kojima Productions, it builds on the original Death Stranding from 2019. The PC version, set for March 19, 2026, expands access to Hideo Kojima's creation via Steam and Epic Games Store, where the standard edition is priced at US$69.99.

Pre-order bonuses for early adopters include the Custom Hologram: Quokka for early unlock, along with Silver variants of Battle Skeleton, Boost Skeleton, and Bokka Skeleton at levels 1 through 3. The Deluxe Edition adds further incentives, such as early access to the Machine Gun [MP] at level 1, patches like Quokka, Chiral Cat, and Why Me?, plus Gold variants of the skeletons.

Kojima Productions' head of publishing, Jay Boor, announced in a PlayStation Blog post that new modes and features will launch alongside the PC version and update the PS5 edition. "We can also confirm today that new modes and features will be coming to both PC and PS5 at launch that will offer players new challenges and rewards. More details to share on that coming next month, so stay tuned!" Boor stated.

The PC release supports ultrawide monitors in 21:9 and 32:9 ratios, 4K resolution, upscalers from NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel, Frame Generation, and uncapped framerates. Players can use the DualSense controller or keyboard and mouse controls.
