Diablo 4 patch creates overpowered resolve stacking

A recent bug fix in Diablo 4's Lord of Hatred expansion has led to players achieving extreme damage reduction through stacked resolve. The change occurred after a May 13 update that was meant to correct an earlier issue with the Aspect of Glynn’s Anvil. Players are now reporting toughness levels in the tens of millions.

The Aspect of Glynn’s Anvil increases maximum resolve by 2 and adds between 2.5 and 4 percent extra damage reduction per stack. Normal resolve stacks provide 25 percent damage reduction and are limited to eight. The May 13 patch was intended to restore the aspect's intended values after the April 28 launch of Lord of Hatred left it underpowered.
