Dozens of Japanese sports cars convoy arrives in Bandung

Dozens of legendary Japanese sports cars traveled from Jakarta to Bandung on Sunday 21 June 2026 as part of the Road to IMX 2026 series.

The convoy organized by the JDM Run community under the theme #AsoyGeboyCruise departed early from the MT Haryono area in South Jakarta. The relaxed journey to The Hive Bumi Pancasona in Kota Baru Parahyangan West Bandung focused on driving experience and participant interaction.

Various classic Japanese sports car models and those modified in Japanese Domestic Market style appeared in the convoy. The presence of these rare vehicles drew attention from toll road users and visitors at the destination.

IMX Project Director Andre Mulyadi said the enthusiasm of participants and visitors signals that community automotive culture remains strong in Indonesia. Franky Wijaya from JDM Run emphasized that the event aims to strengthen community bonds through stories and experiences along the route.
