Dua Lipa, 30, and actor Callum Turner, 36, tied the knot in Italy earlier this month. They face a long wait before settling into the London house.
The couple bought the property in 2020 and sought planning permission for renovations in 2021. Plans include a £3 million basement addition with a pool, music studio and cinema.
Work is scheduled to run until July 2027. The pair are renting nearby in the meantime.
Design expert Leigh Ann Raines noted the careful manual excavation methods used to avoid disturbing neighbours, adding that such projects often stretch beyond three years.
