Bosnia-Herzegovina has included veteran forward Edin Dzeko in its squad for the 2026 World Cup. At age 40, he is set to become one of the oldest outfield players to feature in the tournament finals.
Dzeko scored six goals in nine qualifying appearances to help Bosnia reach the finals for the first time since 2014. His selection follows a play-off victory over Wales on penalties. Bosnia opens the group stage against co-hosts Canada on June 12 in Toronto and is drawn with Qatar and Switzerland in Group B.
