A female spectator in her 70s was injured when a rally car left the track during the SM competition Rally Killingen in Brevik outside Kil.
The alarm reached SOS Alarm shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday. According to police spokesperson Martin Tysell, the car left the track and the woman stood exactly where it drove off.
The woman was flown by air ambulance to hospital. She reported pain in the chest and pelvis. She remained conscious, but the severity of her injuries is still unclear.
Police classify the incident as causing bodily harm and negligence in traffic. The rally car will be seized for technical examination.
