Elderly woman tries to push younger passenger from priority seat on mtr train

A video shows an elderly woman attempting to shove a younger woman from a priority seat inside a Hong Kong MTR carriage, with the clip spreading rapidly on Threads on Saturday.

In the footage, the elderly woman, seated in one of two adjacent priority seats, pushes the younger woman's face, grabs her hair and shakes her head while using her foot to push the other woman's leg.

The younger woman does not strike back or respond verbally. A fellow passenger seated nearby asks the elderly woman to let go but receives no compliance.

A photo posted with the clip shows the older passenger attempting to hide her face and torso behind the younger woman.

The dispute took place inside an MTR carriage and the video has drawn attention on social media.
