Eleven equity mutual funds post over 25 percent gains in three months

A total of 11 equity mutual funds delivered returns exceeding 25 percent over the past three months, according to data covering 302 funds in the period.

The top performers included JM Small Cap Fund at 35.02 percent, Bank of India Small Cap Fund at 30.40 percent, and TRUSTMF Small Cap Fund at 30.34 percent. Other notable funds were Motilal Oswal Small Cap Fund with 29.06 percent and Helios Small Cap Fund with 27.82 percent.

Quant Mutual Fund contributed two entries, with Quant Value Fund returning 26.39 percent and Quant Small Cap Fund at 26.17 percent. Invesco India Small Cap Fund, Quant Focused Fund, and HSBC Small Cap Fund rounded out the list with gains of 25.90 percent, 25.75 percent, and 25.12 percent respectively.

The source data, compiled from ACE MF, noted that investors should not base decisions solely on historical returns and instead consider personal risk appetite, investment horizon, and financial goals.
