Epic Games has settled a lawsuit against former contractor Hayden Cohen, who was accused of leaking details about unannounced Fortnite collaborations.
Cohen has agreed to a court judgment that prevents him from possessing, accessing, using or disclosing any of Epic's confidential or trade secret information. The agreement also bars him from sharing such details with third parties.
Epic filed the suit earlier this year, alleging Cohen leaked plans for crossover events involving Minecraft, South Park, Ben 10 and Game of Thrones. The settlement does not include details on monetary damages.
Epic spokesperson Natalie Munoz said the company took legal action to stop repeated leaks of confidential partner information. The company asked the court to approve an injunction to prevent further disclosures.
The case concluded with the proposed judgment, as reported on July 5.
