Edna Imade opened the scoring in the 8th minute, but Sophie Weidauer equalized three minutes later with a solo run across half the pitch. Barbara Dunst restored the lead after halftime (50th minute), only for Lia Kamber to level at 2:2 (77th).
National team captain Giulia Gwinn scored the winner in the 84th minute, assisted by Klara Bühl. Both made comebacks from injury. Coach José Barcala used the match to reintegrate the international players.
"It makes you hungry for more," Gwinn told MagentaTV. "This is insane," said Dunst, postponing major celebrations due to upcoming fixtures. Club president Herbert Hainer congratulated: "The fourth consecutive German championship is another historic achievement." National team coach Christian Wück praised the team's consistency on matchday 23.
Bayern now eyes a treble. They face FC Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Saturday, followed by the DFB-Pokal final against VfL Wolfsburg on May 14. The men's team had won their title three days earlier.
