Ethiopia's Federal Housing Corporation has reached an agreement to work in housing development and administration in Juba, South Sudan, as announced by Fana Media Corporation. The pact allows joint operations in the sector.
CEO Reshad Kemal told Fana Media that the corporation is working to secure foreign exchange income by assuming a leadership role in the sector across East Africa and beyond. He said they are taking broad initiatives to strengthen long-standing ties between the two countries and assume full responsibility.
Central Equatoria State administrator Emmanuel Adil stated that Ethiopia's economic and rapid urban development serves as a model for Africans. He assured that sharing Ethiopia's housing expertise with the corporation will make it practical in Juba and the region. The agreement focuses on projects with strategic value and proximity.
