Four Horsemen Studios has unveiled the Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game, expanding its high-fantasy action figure line into a tabletop RPG set in the Realm of Mythoss. The Kickstarter campaign includes a core rulebook, beginner box, miniatures, and new figures designed for gameplay. The project has already met its funding goal with 37 days remaining.
Four Horsemen Studios, a company with 25 years of experience, introduced the Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game through a Kickstarter campaign. This tabletop RPG brings the high-fantasy world of Mythoss, previously known from the studios' customizable action figure line launched over a decade ago, to role-playing enthusiasts.
Development began in mid-2024 after fans expressed interest in using the figures for tabletop games. The studios collaborated with in-house resources and experts in art, writing, and gameplay to create the fully developed product. As stated in the Kickstarter description: "The Realm of Mythoss is now open for tabletop gameplay with Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game! We are Four Horsemen Studios... so in mid-2024 we began working on this game."
The full adventure bundle features a core rulebook, beginner box, maps, dice, standees or miniatures, and a new wave of figures including a Wizard, Rogue, Cleric, Fighter, Orc Barbarian, and Skeleton Fighter. These figures are tailored for RPG sessions, with each available for $30. Character packs, priced at $15, allow customization into roles such as Paladin, Druid, Ranger, or Barbarian. Additional add-ons include swappable heads, evil and heroic weapon packs, and combo sets for further personalization.
The campaign, which emphasizes bringing the figures to life in gameplay, has successfully reached its funding goal. Backers have 37 days left to support the project and acquire the components. Another excerpt from the Kickstarter notes: "We tapped in-house resources at our company while also working with a team of leading artists, writers, and gameplay experts to bring this new RPG to life. Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game is now fully developed and ready for production, but we need your help to make it happen by backing this Kickstarter!"
