The French Cross-Country Skiing Cup's Méribel stage began Sunday morning with the under-18 women's 7.5km classic mass-start, where Guillemette Baisle of Dragons d’Annecy claimed victory ahead of Lison Brouart of Club Nordique des Glières. Anja Vittoz finished third, 30 seconds behind Baisle, followed by Gaia Musso, Clémence Coutaz, Anna Musso, Chloé Mossuz, Léna Colin, Louna Gillmann, and Louna Remillon in the top 10.
Mid-morning, the under-16 women's 7.5km race saw Manon Pradel Mayer of La Féclaz secure her second win of the weekend, edging Giulia Lathuraz of Méribel by 2.4 seconds. Léonie Chateigner-Letinois took third, with Emma Petitjean, Léa Barbier, Manon Grosdidier, Romane Schweitzer, Romane Durand, Salomé Barreau, and Nora Jeunet completing the top 10.
In the under-18 men's 15km event, Lilian Jaussaud of Haut-Alpin broke away solo from the second intermediate point to win, beating Louis Maquart and Paul Rousset Vachon of Le Revard by 23.5 seconds and 31 seconds, respectively. The top 10 included Arthur Marguet, Simon Calandry, Mattéo Vandel, Jules Charrier, Joss Levet, Emilien Grappe, and Arsène Didelle.
The under-16 men's 10km race went to Elio Faivre of Jura for his second victory in two days, ahead of Nohé Boyer of Féclaz by 9.6 seconds and Sam Perrillat-Collomb of Bornand by 14.4 seconds. Gabriel Gaudin, Antoine Vachette, Oscar Perrillat-Boiteux, Nino Rimailho, Maé Bonnet, Axel Perrillat-Bottonet, and Sacha Gorry followed.
Senior women raced 15km, with 20-year-old Margot Tirloy of Montblanc dominating solo to win by 1 minute 31.4 seconds over Anouchka Neuville, the U20 leader. Agathe Margreither placed third, 1:44.7 back, followed by Romane Nappey, Manon Favre Bonvin, Noélie Vittoz, Julie Marciniak, Marguerite Couval, Pom Rives, and Coline Schmitt.
In the men's 20km senior race, Rémi Bourdin, 24, led from the first intermediate for a solo victory, 49 seconds ahead of Mattéo Correia. Aubin Gaulier was third, with Luc Primet fourth, Loris Chevalier fifth, and Félix Caillot sixth. U20 standout Johan Calandry of Montblanc finished seventh overall, ahead of Milo Desseux and Lorin Vergnolle.
This stage, part of a seven-event national circuit starting in Bessans and ending in Prémanon, showcased emerging talents in classic technique under varying conditions in the Savoie region.
