Gaspi's father shares deep pain after Rio helicopter crash

Ricardo Prim, father of Argentine influencer Gaspar Prim Díaz, shared his grief over his son's death in a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro. The 23-year-old died alongside singer Oliver Tree and four others last Sunday.

Gaspi, with nearly 4 million Instagram followers and over 2.8 million YouTube subscribers, was one of Argentina's most popular content creators. Ricardo Prim, owner of the Buensur bookstore in Puerto Madryn, posted family photos and messages on Facebook with the phrase "Gaspi, te quiero siempre".

In statements to Clarín, the father said: "It will be very difficult for me to live without Gaspi, without knowing that he is not here. I found out at midday on Sunday and I still can't fully grasp it". He also recounted opening his business despite the pain and receiving hugs and flowers from neighbors and followers.

Prim voiced doubts about the causes of the crash. "I believe it was not an accident. For me it was an attack", he said, as Brazilian authorities continue their investigations.
