Ookla has recognized Globe Telecom as the most consistent mobile and fixed network in the Philippines for the second half of 2025, along with the widest 5G coverage. This highlights the company's strong Quality of Service and Quality of Experience metrics. These achievements are significant for Filipinos' daily internet use.
In the second half of 2025, Globe Telecom received awards from Ookla as the Most Consistent Mobile Network and Most Consistent Fixed Network in the Philippines. It was also recognized for the widest 5G coverage. According to Ookla, Globe's Mobile Consistency Score reached 87.51% for the third to fourth quarters of 2025, indicating how often users obtain sufficient speeds for streaming, browsing, and video calls.
For fixed broadband, Globe achieved an 88.84% consistency score, suitable for home and business internet. This follows its previous recognition in the third quarter of 2023 as the most consistent in 35 areas across the country. Its 5G coverage score of 490 demonstrates commitment to Quality of Service in diverse locations, including remote towns.
Globe president and CEO Carl Cruz stated at the Philippine Telco Summit, “Addressing these gaps requires continued investment not just in coverage, but in capacity, redundancy, and resilience to keep services stable under varying conditions. It’s part of our drive to provide the best and most consistent connectivity because our purpose is to uplift Filipino lives every day, and this includes serving the underserved.”
Additionally, Department of Information and Communications Technology secretary Henry Aguda said, “These developments show that speed is no longer the country’s main bottleneck. What we need now is consistency of connection and more cell sites and expanded network infrastructure.”
In August 2025, Globe shared that it is working toward broader reach and deeper impact, particularly in communities where stable mobile signals enable education, livelihoods, and business development. Filipinos spend an average of five hours and 21 minutes on mobile internet daily, accounting for 60.4% of the country's total internet usage.
These accomplishments support seamless video calls, streaming, and other online activities without interruptions.
