IWC has introduced its initial lineup of watches for 2026, featuring dark materials and motorsport influences. The releases include a monochromatic Portugieser Chronograph in Ceratanium and two limited-edition Pilot’s Watches created with Formula One driver George Russell. These models emphasize technical construction and performance aesthetics.
The 2026 IWC watch releases began with three models unveiled in early 2026, highlighting the brand's focus on innovative materials and collaborations. The first is the Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium, set for release in February 2026. This 41mm timepiece features a case, crown, and pushers made entirely from Ceratanium, IWC's proprietary titanium alloy that combines ceramic-like hardness and lightness with a dark metallic finish. The black dial includes aligned subdials at 12 and 6 o’clock, black appliques, and hands, paired with a black rubber strap and Ceratanium pin buckle. Powered by the in-house Caliber 69355 column-wheel chronograph movement, it operates at 4 Hz with a 46-hour power reserve and a double-pawl winding system, visible through a sapphire caseback. Limited to 1,500 pieces, it is priced at $14,600.
The other two releases stem from a partnership with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One driver George Russell, incorporating his signature blue accents on black zirconium oxide ceramic cases. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell (Ref. IW389411) has a 41.9mm case with Ceratanium crown and pushers, a black dial with blue Super-LumiNova, and the Caliber 69380 automatic chronograph movement at 4 Hz, offering a 46-hour power reserve, day-date display, and 100-meter water resistance. Limited to 1,063 pieces—referencing Russell’s racing number—it costs $12,900.
Complementing it is the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell (Ref. IW328107), with a 41mm black ceramic case, Ceratanium crown, blue numerals, and the Caliber 32112 movement providing a 120-hour power reserve and 100-meter water resistance. Also limited to 1,063 pieces, its price is $8,900.
These launches signal IWC's direction toward moody, performance-oriented designs for 2026, with further releases anticipated at events like Watches and Wonders.
