J.T. Poston secured his win at the Memorial Tournament using Titleist’s new GTS3 driver. The victory marks the first PGA Tour success for the GTS line.
Poston added the GTS3 to his bag at the Valero Texas Open shortly after its release to professionals. He has used the club since the Truist Championship last month. The driver became available to the public in mid-May following its PGA Tour debut in March at the Houston Open. At the Memorial Tournament, 18 players in the field carried a GTS model, exceeding any other brand’s count. Titleist drivers have now powered nine winners since March 9. All but one of those victories came with the GTS3 until Poston’s result with the GTS3. Cameron Young switched to the GTS3 this week while Matt Fitzpatrick added the GTS2 model.
