JBL says Randy Orton has good chance to break John Cena's record

WWE Hall of Famer JBL believes Randy Orton could surpass John Cena's record of 17 world title reigns.

JBL made the comments during an appearance on the "Something To Wrestle" podcast. He noted that Orton currently holds 14 world titles and said a couple more reigns would tie Cena's mark.

"I think there's a good chance he does it and I think he should," JBL said of Orton. The Hall of Famer praised Orton's in-ring ability, recalling how one of his matches once elevated an entire show.

At WrestleMania 41, Cena set the record now known as the "never seen 17." Orton remains tied with Triple H and Charlotte Flair for the third-most reigns in WWE history, behind only Cena and Ric Flair.
