Jennifer Beals joins NCIS: New York cast

CBS has added Jennifer Beals to the cast of its upcoming NCIS spin-off. She will play Robyn Wells, the director of the NCIS New York field office.

Beals joins series regulars LL Cool J as Sam Hanna and Scott Caan as Nick Schaeffer. Three additional actors have also been cast as series regulars: Jacqueline Byers as special agent Addy Ross, Shane Harper as special agent Wyatt Hill, and Devin Druid as tech specialist Sean Sullivan.

The show is scheduled to debut on CBS this fall on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Filming is set to begin in New York this month under showrunner Byron Balasco.

Beals previously starred in Flashdance and played Bette Porter on The L Word and its follow-up series The L Word: Generation Q.
