Jpegmafia has revealed details of his sixth solo album, Experimental Rap, set to release on May 21 via AWAL. The announcement includes the new single 'Babygirl' and dates for a fall North American tour. He will also perform at four festivals this August.
Jpegmafia released the bruising single “Babygirl,” the lead track from his upcoming album Experimental Rap. A press statement describes the LP as an “era-defining magnum opus.” The album, his sixth solo effort, follows his 2024 release I Lay Down My Life For You, a 2025 deluxe edition of that project, and a collaborative EP with Flume titled We Live in a Society. It is scheduled to drop on May 21 via AWAL, with the music video and album cover art now available online. The musician has lined up festival appearances this August at Pukkelpop, Lowlands, All Points East, and Electric Picnic. His solo North American tour kicks off September 22 at Knitting Factory in Spokane, Washington, and continues through late October, hitting cities including Vancouver, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Atlanta. Venues range from Commodore Ballroom to Aragon Ballroom and The Fillmore Philadelphia. Fans can check out the single and tour dates as Jpegmafia builds momentum ahead of the album's release.
