Justice authorities raided the homes of Jesica Cirio and Elías Piccirillo after videos showing stacks of dollars were released.
Federal judge Luis Armella ordered the operations at the request of prosecutor Sergio Mola. National Gendarmerie personnel carried out the raids at an apartment in Palermo and a property in Banfield, where Piccirillo is serving house arrest.
The goal was to seize cell phones and electronic devices containing the original recordings. The raids ended without positive results in the seizure of equipment.
The videos have already been added to the case file and will undergo expert analysis to determine the amount of money shown. The images depict Cirio displaying stacks of dollars at a San Vicente property she shared with her ex-husband Martín Insaurralde.
