Kirsty Armstrong and Hanna Lublin Niklasson win På spåret

Stand-up comedians Kirsty Armstrong and Hanna Lublin Niklasson have won the final of SVT's quiz show På spåret. They defeated Ina Lundström and Hanna Hellquist by correctly identifying Nuuk in Greenland as the final destination in the deciding question.

The final of På spåret was recorded several months ago, but the winners can now reveal their victory. Stand-up comedians Kirsty Armstrong and Hanna Lublin Niklasson, both debuting in the program, made it all the way to the final where they faced Ina Lundström and Hanna Hellquist. The competition was decided on the final journey when the teams had to identify the destination. Armstrong and Niklasson correctly guessed Nuuk in Greenland, while their opponents chose Reykjavik in Iceland.

Greenland has recently been in the spotlight following Donald Trump's statements, but the recording took place last autumn, making it a coincidence. "It feels like we could have known it earlier if it was now," says Kirsty Armstrong. Hanna Lublin Niklasson adds: "Yes, I know that Ina said she had no idea about it when she guessed. There's been a bit more focus on it now."

Three of the four finalists are stand-up comedians, challenging prejudices about the profession's education. "I think many comedians are well-informed, because you have to keep track of news and what's happening around you to be able to joke about it," explains Armstrong. The winners describe their joy: "We were high on life for a month and a half afterward."

Both are planning solo tours this spring. Niklasson's tour includes dates in Gothenburg, Sundsvall, and Stockholm, while Armstrong's visits Växjö, Malmö, and Örebro among others. They would gladly participate again: "We don't like pressure, but if they want us, we'll probably come back," says Niklasson.
