The New York Knicks are preparing for Game 4 of the NBA Finals after suffering their first loss in 46 days to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3.
The Knicks fell 115-111 on Monday, dropping their series lead to 2-1. Coach Mike Brown noted the offense stagnated in the second half with poor ball movement and spacing. Players emphasized the need to reduce turnovers, avoid fouling and maintain better execution. Karl-Anthony Towns said the team was not executing the little details that made them special. San Antonio guard Stephon Castle recalled an earlier loss to New York that served as a reminder the Spurs are beatable if they do not follow their game plan. Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.
