L’Rain will embark on a cross-country tour this fall to support her upcoming album. The news comes alongside the release of a new song titled Borderline from the record Fata Morgana.
L’Rain is set to release her album Fata Morgana on August 14. The project includes the track Borderline, which features a time-lapse video directed by Mackai Sharp.
The video shows the chain-sawing of an ice sculpture and includes appearances by Arooj Aftab, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Tasha, Rena Anakwe, and E. Jane. It is dedicated to the artist’s mother, Lorraine.
L’Rain will perform at venues across North America beginning in September. The schedule runs through December and includes stops in New York, Los Angeles, and other cities.
