LDP and CRA agree on fiscal 2026 budget debate schedule

The Liberal Democratic Party and Constitutional Reform Alliance have settled on a schedule for debating the supplementary budget for fiscal 2026.

The budget committees of both the upper and lower houses will each dedicate one day to deliberations on the extra budget. The fiscal year began in April.

The agreement was reached on May 30. It sets the timeline for parliamentary review of the supplementary measures.
