Lee Cronin's The Mummy is scheduled to begin streaming on HBO Max on Friday, July 3. The film will premiere on HBO linear the following day. It was released in theaters on April 17 by New Line Cinema.
The supernatural horror film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace and Verónica Falcón. In the story, a journalist's young daughter vanishes into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the family faces a nightmare when she returns.
Lee Cronin wrote and directed the movie. James Wan, Jason Blum and Joville served as producers. Executive producers include Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Macdara Kelleher and Cronin.
The film opened with $13.5 million in the United States and $34 million globally. It has earned $90.4 million worldwide to date.
