Lee Jun Young posted the personal note after multiple drafts, sharing a photo of crumpled papers as proof of his efforts.
In the letter, he addressed fans directly, noting they had likely finished watching episode 6 of “Reborn Rookie.” He explained his decision to announce the news himself rather than through an article.
“I’m enlisting on July 21,” the letter stated. Lee Jun Young added that he hopes to “go and return in good health while staying true to myself.”
He closed by wishing fans health and happiness until they meet again.
