Building on its earlier MWC 2026 announcements, Lenovo has unveiled the budget-friendly IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra laptop and Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 tablet, emphasizing AI features and portability for students and everyday users. These join the previously revealed Yoga and Legion devices at the Barcelona event (March 2-5).
At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, following initial reveals of premium Yoga and Legion products (see earlier coverage in this series), Lenovo targeted more accessible segments with new AI-enhanced devices.
The IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra offers Copilot+ PC capabilities via Intel Core Ultra processors, with 14-inch display options: WUXGA OLED or WQXGA IPS LCD, both at 120 Hz. Slim at 11.9 mm and 2.5 pounds, it starts at $799 in October 2026.
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, aimed at students, features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, 13-inch 3.5K display, Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, and Qira AI assistant—Lenovo's first tablet with these tools. It launches in July 2026 for $419.
These additions highlight Lenovo's broad AI strategy across price points during MWC 2026.
