The Liberals reached a new record low of 1 percent in the latest DN/Ipsos poll. The party is far below the parliamentary threshold ahead of the 2026 election.
In the DN/Ipsos June 2026 poll the Liberals received 1 percent after rounding. This is the lowest level since 1979 according to the survey.
The Tidö parties trail the opposition by ten percentage points combined at 44 to 54 percent. Several sources within the Liberals describe surprise at the figure during a group meeting.
Opinion analyst Niclas Källebring at Novus says a more mistreated party is hard to see. Political scientist Henrik Ekengren Oscarsson calls the situation bad with a declining trend.
Party secretary Fredrik Brange remains positive about the election despite this. He says it is a tough starting position but the election is decided on election day.
