A man in his late teens faces charges of robbery and gross weapons offense after a masked attack on Coop in Djurås in April.
A masked man appeared at closing time at Coop in Djurås on 16 April and pointed a functioning pistol at staff. He took a cash drawer containing 4 825 kronor before staff fled into a staff room. No one was physically injured.
The man is now charged with robbery and gross weapons offense. Evidence includes DNA traces, surveillance camera material, shoe prints and content from the suspect's mobile phone. A police dog took part in the search for the perpetrator.
Coop Sverige claims damages for the stolen money and the prosecutor wants the pistol confiscated from the man. The accused denies the crime.
