A tragic road incident took place on March 10 in vereda El Tejar, within Timaná municipality, where 53-year-old Arcenio Bolañoz suffered severe injuries from a serious crash. The circumstances are under investigation by mobility authorities. Local residents alerted emergency services, who attended the scene and initially transferred him to a nearby medical center. Due to the severity, he was moved to Hospital Departamental San Antonio in Pitalito, entering the Intensive Care Unit. Despite medical efforts, he died on the previous Wednesday. His body was taken to Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal on March 19 for autopsy. Funerales Señor de los Milagros is assisting the family with the wake at their home in vereda Sabaneta. The funeral mass is scheduled for March 22 at 11:30 a.m. in parroquia San Calixto, followed by burial in Timaná's local cemetery.
