A man died after two passenger cars collided at Skeda udde south of Linköping on Friday evening.
The alarm about the accident came just before 7 p.m. on Friday. Police and rescue personnel were alerted to the scene where private individuals were already assisting the two people involved.
One of the persons was awake and talkative after the collision. The other had serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital, but the injured person's life could not be saved. Relatives have been notified.
Police have seized both cars for technical examination. No one is suspected of a crime in connection with the accident. Traffic was affected during the work but is now open again.
