A man in his 50s has died following a workplace accident on a farm outside Dösjebro in Kävlinge municipality.
Rescue services were alerted to the farm south of Dösjebro at 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The man was crushed between the ground and the bucket of a wheel loader during work.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital but his life could not be saved. Police announced at 9 p.m. that the man had died.
Police are investigating the incident as a workplace accident. Filip Annas, police spokesperson in Region Syd, said interviews will be held with witnesses and people working on the farm to determine what caused the event.
Relatives have been notified of the death.
