A man is being treated in hospital for severe injuries after his motorcycle left the road in Nyhammar outside Ludvika. The accident occurred just before 6:30 pm on Sunday evening. Rescue services and ambulance were called to the scene.
SOS Alarm received a call just before 6:30 pm about a motorcycle accident in Nyhammar outside Ludvika. According to the alert, a motorcyclist had driven off the road.
The man was transported to hospital by ambulance helicopter. Region Dalarna stated during the evening that he is severely injured and receiving hospital care.
Rescue services and ambulance crews attended the scene. Road 245 was closed in both directions during the operation.
