Sky Sports analyst Martin Brundle says Lewis Hamilton has returned to form in 2026 after building trust with Ferrari following a difficult first season with the team.
Brundle made the comments during coverage of the British Grand Prix weekend. He noted that Hamilton failed to reach the podium in 2025 but has since claimed third place at the Chinese Grand Prix, second places in Canada and Monaco, and his 106th career victory at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
Hamilton currently leads teammate Charles Leclerc by 49 points in the championship standings. At Silverstone he took pole position for the sprint race and finished second behind Kimi Antonelli.
Brundle highlighted the cultural adjustment Hamilton faced after spending most of his career with McLaren and Mercedes. "It's just taken him a while to trust Ferrari and vice versa," Brundle said on the broadcast.
